AAPM's New Medical Physics Public Education Website
The AAPM has recently launched a new website intended to educate the public about both medical physics science and the profession of medical physics. The site features introductory-level content about basic medical physics concepts, the history of medical physics, and practical information for patients, students, and others who are merely curious.
There is an "Ask the Experts" feature that allows any site visitor to submit a question that will be answered by a knowledgeable AAPM member. New video-based content will be added soon. This website is a great resource for anyone interested in learning about the intersection of physics (especially radiation physics) and medicine.
